Biography
When 2 of the most hard working DJ's join forces, nothing but explosions can come out of it. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Dj Twitch and Julian Prince met at 13 years old in High School. Their love for music and will to pursue it, began more and more realistic. Growing up together, they shared the same goals, make music and let the whole world hear it. While these young roommates were dreaming of samplers and drum machines, an idea of making and spinning music started to become a shared goal. With the absence of today’s common learning tools, they schooled themselves to learn how to create and entertain. At 16, they both decided to get their first pair of turntables, scratching, mixing recording. Rocking underground parties, nothing was stopping them.
While Julian was establishing his dj career, Dj Twitch chose to lock himself in the studio to perfect the production. After many years of pursuing there individual goals, they came together to form a powerful duo now known as Handgrenade. Their music is inspired by an untraceable diversity of influences and genres; all fusionned together in a perfect blend of electronic grooves. The recipe is weird, but the dish is excellent. Melodic and inspired, always deep and sexy!
